Merriman Park Fun Day set for 2026 revival — community voices wanted

Merriman Park's Fun Day may have taken a hiatus for 2025, but it's coming back — and the organisers want you to help shape the 2026 event.

Next year's Fun Day will return to the park, and the local team is now calling for suggestions from across the community. Whether it's craft stalls, live acts, funfair rides or volunteer roles, they want fresh ideas to make the celebration unforgettable.

To capture as many voices as possible, a survey has been launched to gather input. Locals are asked to take a few minutes to propose their ideas and help steer the next edition.

This approach reflects a broader push for community-led events in Street and Glastonbury, where public engagement is increasingly valued in planning and cultural life.
