After the success of its opening exhibition by Moish Sokal The Courthouse Gallery has now launched its second exhibition, an exciting collection of authenticated lithographs and prints by Henri Matisse.

The Courthouse Gallery is situated in the Courthouse Mews development on West Street in Somerton, and is part of the town's expanding Arts Quarter. The Gallery will hold regular ever-changing selling exhibitions of contemporary masters, with the current works supplied by the famous Goldmark Gallery Rutland. It includes various suites of Matisse's work including 'The Last Works'(Edition unknown 1954), 'Ronsard' (Edition 320 – 1948) and 'Poésies Antillaises' (Edition 250 – 1945-46), and runs until 24th December.

Frank Martin, Director of The Courthouse Gallery, said, "We are really excited to bring works by Matisse to Somerton. We think that the exhibition will be a considerable draw to the town for art lovers, who will also be able to enjoy the 'Gifted' Artisan Christmas Exhibition currently on display at ACEArts."
