O'Connor stands charged with the murder of 89-year-old Frederick Burge

A man accused of the murder of a Glastonbury man has appeared in crown court.

James O'Connor, a 44-year-old resident of Hilltown in Dundee, Scotland, attended a plea hearing at Bristol Crown Court yesterday ( June 5, 2023.)

O'Connor stands charged with the murder of 89-year-old Frederick Burge, which took place in Glastonbury in February. He is currently in custody, and a tentative trial date has been set for September 4.

Judge William Hart ordered O'Connor to remain in custody until the next hearing, scheduled for July 14.
