Millfield and Millfield Prep schools are celebrating the success of their students at the World Biathle/Triathle Championships in Bali, where they won eleven medals for Team GB.

The event, held in challenging conditions including high temperatures and strong sea currents, saw students from both schools perform exceptionally well.

Ruby B, a Year 9 student from Millfield, achieved a gold in the U15 Triathle, a silver in the U15 Biathle, and a bronze in the U15 Individual Triathle. Mateo E, another Year 9 student, secured a bronze in the U15 Triathle. Hunter K finished 19th in the U15 Triathle Final.

From Millfield Prep, Year 7 student Polly W ranked second in the world in the U13 Biathle and won a team silver in the U13 Team Biathle. Kruze F, also in Year 7, was part of the winning U13 GB Triathle team and earned a silver in the U13 Team Biathle. Bea S and Eva D from Year 8 won silver medals in their respective team events, and Raffie B, a Year 6 student, secured a team silver in the U11 Triathle.

These achievements demonstrate the strong pentathlon programme at Millfield, which regularly enters athletes in regional and national competitions. The school has a history of producing accomplished athletes, including Olympians.

The success of these young athletes at the World Championships is a testament to their hard work and the support of their schools.
