Glastonbury's gearing up for this year's In Bloom competition – and locals are being asked to roll up their sleeves and join a town-wide tidy-up.

A community clean-up is taking place on Sunday 29 June, with residents invited to meet at the Glastonbury Information Centre at 2pm. The event will run until 4pm, and everyone is welcome to take part.

Organisers say you can bring your own equipment if you've got it, but there'll be some litter-picking tools and hi-vis vests available on the day.

It's all part of Glastonbury's preparations for the 2025 In Bloom judging, and a chance to help spruce up the town's streets, green spaces and verges – whether you've entered the gardening competition or not.
