Jill Barker, owner of Middlewick in Glastonbury, has been awarded Hospitality Business Leader of the Year at the South West Business Leadership Awards.

The award recognises Jill's vision, leadership, and dedication in building Middlewick into one of the South West's most distinctive and successful hospitality destinations. Set within 16 acres beneath Glastonbury Tor, Middlewick has grown under her direction into a unique retreat combining boutique accommodation, spa, and café, known for its relaxed atmosphere and high standards.

Since taking on the property in 2011, Jill has developed the business while maintaining its character and sense of place. Her hands-on approach and focus on guest experience have been central to Middlewick's continued growth and strong reputation.

Speaking after receiving the award, Jill Barker said:
