Dreaming of showing off your baking skills on national TV? Good news for the residents of Glastonbury and Street—applications for the fifteenth series of the Great British Bake Off are now open.

With Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith likely to return as judges, alongside hosts Alison Hammond and Noel Fielding, the upcoming series promises to be a hit. Here's what you need to know to apply.

Eligibility criteria for Great British Bake Off

• You must be at least 16 years old by 1 January 2024.
• You cannot be a professional baker, chef, or cook, nor have you acquired a professional cooking qualification in the past 10 years.
• You must be available for filming between April and August 2024.

Application process

1. Fill out the online application form. The deadline is 1 PM on Tuesday, 2 January 2024.
2. If selected, you'll be invited for a phone interview.
3. Successful candidates will then head to London for an in-person interview and screen test.
4. A real-life technical challenge in front of the camera will be the final hurdle before you make it onto the show.
