Welcome to the latest in our Hospitality Heroes series on Glastonbury Nub News.

We will be providing you with a profile of a number of fantastic hospitality venues to go alongside their reopening in April and May.

The industry has been hit particularly hard with pubs, restaurants, tea rooms and accommodation only open for four out of the last 12 months.

Today here is everything you need to know about Rie's Retreat.

Situated on Wells Road, Rie's Retreat is run by Rie White, who has made improvements to make sure the bed and breakfast is safe and secure, and she is running an offer to tempt visitors back.

Rie told Glastonbury Nub News: "It's been a difficult last year for us all.

"It has been particularly tough for us in the hospitality industry with us not being able to welcome guests to Glastonbury, or only in specifically allowed cases.

"But hope springs eternal and I'm sure all of us are very excited to be able to open our doors again from April or May.

"At Rie's Retreat we have made lots of lovely improvements to make your stay Covid safe and secure.

"So if you do have any visitors coming to town, please recommend them to Rie's Retreat and I will give any guest that you refer £10 off the B&B rate."
