The Glastonbury Carnival Committee is looking for your ideas on carnival to help them plan for the future.

The committee has created a questionnaire which can help them better understand the community's knowledge of, and experiences of, Carnival.

Glastonbury Carnival is an annual event that has been celebrated in the town of Glastonbury, Somerset, England since the early 20th century. It is one of the biggest and most popular events in the town's calendar, drawing thousands of visitors from all over the country.

In the 1920s, the Glastonbury and Street Carnival Association was formed, and the first official Glastonbury Carnival was held in 1924. The carnival quickly grew in popularity, attracting larger crowds and more participants each year.

Over the years, the carnival has evolved and expanded and the cartss have also become more elaborate, with each participating group and organisation putting in a lot of effort and creativity into designing and building their carts. Today, the carts are covered in thousands of lights and LEDs, creating a dazzling display of colour and light that is truly breathtaking.

Today, Glastonbury Carnival is an integral part of the town's cultural heritage, attracting visitors from all over the country and beyond. The carnival continues to evolve and adapt, incorporating new ideas and features while staying true to its roots.

The Glastonbury Carnival Committee, which is responsible for organising the event, is always looking for new ways to improve and enhance the carnival experience for participants and visitors alike.

By filling in the questionnaire, you can help to ensure the organising committee will be better equipped to plan future carnival celebrations that meet the needs and desires of the community.
