Glastonbury's Welcome Unity Event is returning this spring, offering a space for organisations, businesses, and community groups to come together in a celebration of the town's diversity and shared values.

Taking place from 12th to 20th April, the event provides an opportunity for local people to connect, collaborate, and showcase the positive work being done in the community.

Organised by the Pilgrim Reception Centre, Welcome Unity began as a way to bring together spiritual and religious groups in Glastonbury.

Over time, it has expanded to include charities, arts organisations, local businesses, and wider community initiatives. The aim is to celebrate the many different groups that help make Glastonbury a unique and inclusive place. By sharing their work, participants can strengthen connections, inspire new collaborations, and highlight the town's spirit of unity.

Pilgrim Reception Centre Manager Katrin Kneupfer said, "We believe that by bringing together diverse groups, we can foster a stronger sense of community and celebrate the unique spirit of Glastonbury."

There are many ways for individuals and organisations to take part, including hosting a stall, workshop, or performance, opening up a space to the public, sponsoring the event through advertising, raffle prizes, or donations, and joining the Easter Egg Trail by displaying a decorated egg in a shop window.

A range of sponsorship options are available, including advertising in the event programme, providing raffle prizes, or making donations. All proceeds go to Glaston Centre Non-Profit Ltd, ensuring the event remains free for the community.

For more information on participation and sponsorship, contact Katrin at [email protected] or call 07512 006969.
