Glastonbury Zombie Walk returns for Halloween with free entertainment and costumes
By Laura Linham 6th Oct 2026
Glastonbury's Zombie Walk will return on Halloween, with families invited to dress up and join a procession through the town to raise money for Children's World.
The free event takes place on Saturday, 31 October, from 5pm to 7pm, with entertainment on Magdalene Street before the Town Crier releases the zombies at 6.30pm.
The procession will then make its way up and down the High Street, with residents and visitors welcome to join in. Donations are encouraged to support the Glastonbury charity's work with children.
This year's entertainment includes Glastonbury Dragon Drummers, Glastonbury Morris Dancers, Devito's Circus and Amanda Perry. Dante and Morgan from the Children's World Youth Committee will also take part.
Anyone needing help getting into character can head upstairs at the Crown pub, where Children's World will provide free face painting and costumes.
Road closures will be in place from 4pm until 8pm to allow the entertainment and procession to take place safely. Organisers are asking people travelling into the town centre to plan ahead and allow extra time.
Children's World provides creative activities, workshops and events for children, with a particular focus on those with additional needs. Donations collected during the evening will help fund that work.
Further information is available on the Children's World website.
