A Glastonbury business has helped a local motor club raise £900 for the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.

The donation was collected by Burnham-on-Sea Motor Club's Classic Car Tour, which took place last year.

A spokesperson for Burnham-on-Sea Motor Club said: "We met at the Abbey Tea Rooms in Glastonbury, to meet Mary Parker, who is a huge supporter of the Air Ambulance. Mary supports our David Warren Classic Car Tour each year by donating all of the breakfasts and drinks to all 80 entrants, this equates to hundreds of pounds each year."

With Mary's help, the the motor club managed to donate £900 to the charity.

Over the years, Burnham Motor Club has donated more than £9,200 to the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance, something which they are very proud of.

The spokesperson added: "Thank you to all who came to the event to make it such a great success, we can't wait to see you on the next event on the 23rd of July to raise more for this fantastic charity, also a huge thank you must go to Mary, she is an amazing lady."
