Millfield Prep School swimmers have won a prestigious national competition for the 38th year in a row. The Glastonbury-based school's 33-strong squad competed at the IAPS National Swimming Finals in London last week, where they were crowned overall champions.

Both the girls' and boys' teams also claimed top spots at the finals. The girls' team secured the title for the 38th consecutive year, while the boys' team made it 24 years in a row.

Millfield Prep swimming coach Maria Jones praised the squad's performance after the event. She said: "It was a fantastic team effort, with every swimmer racing with determination and showing great team spirit throughout, supporting each other and rising brilliantly to the occasion."

Millfield Prep School, located in Glastonbury, has been rated the best sports school in the country for 12 years by School Sports Magazine. The latest swimming success adds another national title to the school's long-running record in prep school sport.
