Cinnamon Lane in Glastonbury is scheduled to be closed for roadworks for two days next week.

The road is set to be shut on Thursday (September 24) and Friday (September 25) from the junction with the A361 to the junction with Kennard Moor Drove.

The closure is required to enable Bristol Water to dig trial holes for a future renovations scheme that is due to start next year.

Other roadworks that are scheduled to take place in Glastonbury next week include:

From Tuesday (September 22) to Thursday, temporary traffic lights are planned in Butleigh Road, to enable Bristol Water to dig exploratory trial hole pits prior to the construction of a new water main.

Similar work is also set to take place from Monday (September 21) to October 2 in Old Butleigh Road, Bretenoux Road and Chalice Way.

Bristol Water's work to install a new supply in Dod Lane is due to be completed on Monday.

Finally, a month-long permit for scaffolding is due to start on Thursday at 33 High Street.
