Glastonbury roadworks for week commencing November 18

Resurfacing work will take place in Benedict Street, Glastonbury, this week.

Stop and go traffic control will be in place in the road for the works to take place on Monday and Tuesday November 18 and 19.

Meanwhile, Bristol Water's work to replace a cover and frame in the same street should be completed by Monday, as should Western Power Distribution's work there on a new supply by Thursday.

Other roadworks in Glastonbury this week include:

There will be stop and go traffic control on Monday in Old Wells Road to enable Western Power Distribution to carry out tree trimming.

Bristol Water will be carrying out a number of roadworks in the town this week, including in Hexton Road from Tuesday to Thursday November 21, and in Monington Road, Leg of Mutton Road and St Benedict's Close from Wednesday to Friday November 20 to 22.

From Monday to Wedneday, BT will be replacing the box at the junction of Manor House Road and Wells Road, and laying a duct in the pavement.

Finally, on Wednesday, Western Power Distribution will be excavating and installing a new stay in Beckery.
