A road in Glastonbury is set to be closed for roadworks, as crews step up their return to work following the easing of the coronavirus lockdown.

Cinnamon Lane is due to be shut for a day at some point between Tuesday (May 19) and June 1, depending on the roadworks crew's schedule which is being kept flexible at this time.

The closure is to enable them to undertake surface dressing works on behalf of Somerset County Council.

Other roadworks in Glastonbury next week include:

There is scheduled to be a lane closure on the A39 Street Road on Wednesday (May 20) for works on telecommunications loops.

Roadworks that have been going on in Beckery New Road for almost a year in relation to the Premier Inn extension are finally scheduled to be completed by Tuesday (May 19).
