Temporary traffic lights are planned on the A39 on the edge of Glastonbury this week for roadworks.

The lights are scheduled to be in place on Hartlake Straight on the A39 Wells Road from Tuesday (December 8) to Friday (December 11).

They are due to be used to enable BT to install fibre cable and a sub-duct into the main road.

Other roadworks in Glastonbury that are planned to take place this week include:

The multi-way temporary traffic lights in Northload Street from the junction with Manor House Road to the junction with Paradise Road for BT to install poly ducts, are set to remain in place until Wednesday (December 9).

Month-long scaffolding permits are scheduled to begin at 3 Wells Road on Monday (December 7) and at St John's Place in Northload Street on Wednesday.
