Glastonbury residents invited to neighbourhood plan drop-in
By Laura Linham 15th Jul 2026
Glastonbury residents are being invited to a Neighbourhood Plan Consultation Drop-In at Glastonbury Town Hall on Tuesday, 21 July 2026. The free event will run from 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm and is open to residents, businesses, community groups and anyone with an interest in the town's future.
The session will be hosted by the Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group and forms part of the Pre-Submission Regulation 14 Consultation. People can drop in at any time during the two-hour session, with no need to book and no requirement to stay for the full event.
The Glastonbury Neighbourhood Plan sets out a community-led vision for how the town should grow and develop in the years ahead. It includes policies covering the environment and green spaces, sustainability and climate, heritage and character, employment and economy, housing, transport, tourism, infrastructure and the town's distinctive setting.
Organisers say the drop-in will give people the chance to find out more about the policies in the draft plan, ask questions and understand how to take part in the consultation. The event is intended to help residents comment before the plan moves on to the next stages.
The Regulation 14 Consultation is an important stage in the neighbourhood planning process. It gives the community a chance to review the draft plan before it is submitted for examination.
The event takes place at Glastonbury Town Hall on Tuesday, 21 July 2026, from 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm. Attendance is free, and visitors can stay for as much or as little time as they wish.
