Glastonbury Pride 2023
Glastonbury Pride 2023

Glastonbury Pride 2023 to build on the grassroots success of Glastonbury Pride 2022 and the town's 'everyone's welcome, be yourself' attitude.

At the last event, approximately 300 people had fun, showed themselves off in style and were entertained. There were meaningful conversations around the Market Cross, draped in various LGBTQ+ Pride flags, with blessings from the sacred White Spring and the first UK priest of the Roman gay god Antinous in 2,000 years.

With the Pride flag fluttering over Glastonbury Town Hall, again, Glastonbury Pride 2023 offers a number of opportunities to celebrate this important day of visibility, spirituality, community cohesion and celebration for LGBTQ+ people in the town and beyond.

We want to give our vibrant and vivacious LGBTQ+ community another joy-filled Pride. There will be:

  • A brunch.
  • A gathering at the Market Cross, Glastonbury with entertainment and speakers.
  • A raffle with prizes donated by Glastonbury businesses - fundraising for two local charities.
  • Blessings from the sacred White Spring and the first UK priest of the Roman gay god Antinous.
  • A picnic.
  • Contemplative spaces around Glastonbury.
  • A community cabaret in the evening.

Further details will follow.
