16th Nov 2023 | Local News

As Glastonbury gears up for its much-anticipated Carnival, residents and visitors should be aware of important road closure information that will impact travel in the area.

One of the main changes to note is the closure of the A39 bypass, which will take effect at 8 pm on Friday, 17th November.

This closure is a critical part of the preparations for the carnival, ensuring the safety and smooth running of this popular event.

Additionally, access to the Kingsfield Estate will be maintained until 5 pm on Friday, 18th November. Residents of the estate and those planning to visit should plan their travel accordingly to accommodate this closure.

Residents are advised to plan their journeys in advance and consider alternative routes where necessary.
