Glastonbury old school friends called back to St Benedict's
By Laura Linham 8th Jun 2026
Former pupils of St Benedict's Junior School in Glastonbury are being invited back through the gates for a reunion marking the school's 150th anniversary.
The celebration is listed for Wednesday, 17 June, at St Benedict's, with alumni asked to return to the school and help mark the milestone.
It is the sort of local gathering likely to bring out old class photos, playground memories and at least a few conversations beginning with: "Do you remember when?"
Former pupils will be able to look around their old classrooms and catch up with old friends.
Organisers are calling on all alumni to come back and take part in the celebration.
Anyone interested in attending is being asked to register their interest with the school office.
For generations of Glastonbury families, St Benedict's has been part of everyday town life — the school run, the friendships, the assemblies, and the small moments that stay with people long after they leave.
Now, the school is hoping those memories will come back through the door for one day of reunion and celebration.
