St Dunstan's Honeybees Playgroup has received a £750 donation from St Dunstan's Masonic Lodge to help fund a sensory garden for children with SEND.

The donation will go towards creating an inclusive outdoor space at the Glastonbury nursery's Wells Road site, making it easier for children with special educational needs and disabilities to explore, learn and play.

The charity‑registered nursery relies heavily on external support and community goodwill to deliver services for local families.

Michael Beasley, Lodge Charity Steward, visited Honeybees to hear detailed plans for the garden and said: "Charity and service is at the heart of what we do in freemasonry, and we are proud and delighted to be able to support so many local good causes."

The playgroup has also launched a fundraising campaign online to gather further support and donations from the wider community.
