Glastonbury Nub News has just reached an important landmark in its short history - so we thought we would tell anyone new to the site what we are all about.

After starting at the end of April last year, the online news service Glastonbury Nub News now has more than 500 likes on our Facebook page.

Thanks for all your support over the past 10 months.

As you can see, we are growing all the time and we want to explain how you can get involved with a site that is about Glastonbury and the surrounding villages.

But it is also supporting those communities, which why you can be a part of it.

  • Stories: If you have a story to tell or know of someone we should be writing about, get in touch. We have already reported on a number of people and companies making news in the area. Our black 'nub it' button enables local people, businesses, councillors, campaigners and sports clubs to write articles for us. You can input the information directly to us. We will then put it on the site from here. It really is that easy.
  • What's On: Are you organising an event? Let us know. Again, by using the 'nub it' button you can then tell us all about it, we will then publicise this on our website, Facebook page and on Twitter. This is a FREE service and good to know with spring and summer approaching.
  • Classifieds: We also have a super fast section of classified, jobs and property, all dedicated to Shepton and the surrounding area, so there is no need to type in postcodes or your address
  • And we want to add more features during 2020

We aim to be in the heart of the town and give you a voice.

It has been great to see the reaction we have had so far from the community and we want to make that connection stronger.

The site is very quick and easy to use on computer or mobile - we like to call it 'Your Town in Your Pocket'.

Either use the Nub It button, get in touch via Facebook or email: [email protected].
