Nominations are now open for Glastonbury's 2026 Community Awards, with residents invited to recognise outstanding individuals who make a difference in the town. Winners will be announced at the Annual Town Meeting on Thursday, 2 April 2026, at 7 pm.
Glastonbury Town Council is accepting nominations across four categories: Citizen of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Young Volunteer of the Year (aged 24 or under), and Volunteer Long Service Awards (10 years or more of service). The deadline for nominations is Sunday, 2 March.
The awards celebrate those who give their time, energy and expertise for the benefit of Glastonbury's people and places. Current Town Councillors are not eligible for nomination.
The Citizen of the Year award recognises someone who has made a positive impact on the lives of others and shown dedication, honesty and integrity in their community involvement.
Residents can submit their nominations via the official online form.
