Voters in Glastonbury are heading to the polls today to elect a new representative for Somerset Council.
Polling stations are open across the town on Thursday, 23 October, and all registered electors are reminded to bring valid photo ID to vote.
A second election will take place next week for the Glastonbury Town Council. Residents in St Edmund's Ward will vote on Wednesday, 6 November, to fill a vacant town councillor seat. Eligible voters in the ward should have received poll cards with details of their designated polling station and voting hours.
Both elections are being run by Somerset Council. Voters can contact the local elections office for further assistance or ID-related queries.
