Glastonbury Frost Fayre 2024: Stunning aerial footage captures festive celebrations from above

By Laura Linham   30th Nov 2024

Glastonbury's annual Frost Fayre drew thousands of visitors to the town this weekend for a day packed with Christmas markets, live music, and family activities.

Now, YouTuber and drone photographer JustMadnessBoy has shared remarkable drone footage, offering a unique perspective on the event as it got underway in the town.

The video showcases the High Street, filled with market stalls just as the festive shoppers descend.

Officially opened by Glastonbury Mayor Councillor Lokabee Lokabandhu, the Frost Fayre featured activities across the town. From live performances on five music stages to Santa's grotto and fairground rides at St Dunstan's Car Park, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The day culminated with the Mayor leading the Christmas tree lights switch-on in Market Square, a highlight accompanied by seasonal favourites from the Glastonbury Brass Band.

Whether you were there in person or missed out, the aerial video provides a stunning look at the magic of Glastonbury's Frost Fayre 2024.
