Firefighters from Glastonbury tackled a tractor blaze in Wedmore yesterday evening (December 28).

Just before 7.30pm, a fire appliance from Cheddar and one from Glastonbury along with the water carrier from Bridgwater attended a tractor on fire in Wedmore.

Crews confirmed the tractor to be well alight and got to work extinguishing the fire using one hose reel jet and an attack jet.

They also used a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots.

The cause of this incident is believed to be accidental.
