Glastonbury Town Council will host a World Heritage Consultation Day on Saturday, 25 October 2025, from 2.00pm to 5.00pm at Glastonbury Town Hall.

The open-door session invites residents, traders and heritage fans to inspect early proposals, question councillors and share views on the town's developing bid for UNESCO World Heritage status.

Glastonbury's heritage group was set up in 2022 to explore whether the town's cultural and spiritual legacy meets the criteria — and whether locals support the idea.

The council says Saturday's event is a key moment for the public to help shape the next phase before any formal application is drafted.
