November might feel a long way off, but for carnival clubs and organisers, November is always on their minds.

The Glastonbury Chilkwell Carnival, a highlight of the local calendar, is calling on the community for support. Organisers are seeking volunteers to help ensure the event runs smoothly. With a variety of roles available, including car park attendants, marshals, crowd control, and road closure support, there’s a way for everyone to contribute.

The carnival, renowned for its vibrant floats and lively atmosphere, relies on the dedication of volunteers to manage the various aspects of the event. Those interested in lending a hand and being part of this cherished local tradition are encouraged to sign up.

To express interest or register as a volunteer, please contact the Glastonbury Chilkwell Guy Fawkes Carnival Committee at [email protected].

Your support is crucial in keeping this festive tradition alive and well in Glastonbury. Don’t miss your chance to be a part of something special.
