The Glastonbury Chilkwell Carnival — one of the town's biggest and brightest nights — is on the lookout for volunteers to help keep the show on the road.

Organisers are calling for extra hands to help with everything from car parking and crowd control to marshals and road closures. Basically, if you can spare a few hours and a hi-vis, you're in.

The carnival's famous for its illuminated carts, music and mayhem, but it only happens thanks to the army of volunteers who turn up year after year.

Anyone keen to get involved can drop the committee an email at [email protected]
