The Rainbow's End Café, Glastonbury's original vegetarian eatery, has been awarded the 2024/25 Good Food Awards Gold Seal for the second consecutive year.

The accolade is given to establishments that excel in food quality, service, and value for money, with winners being recognised for maintaining consistently high customer ratings over a three-year period.

A spokesperson for the Good Food Awards said: "The Gold Seal is a marque of distinction, reserved for those who achieve outstanding standards."

Nestled on Glastonbury's High Street, The Rainbow's End Café has been serving vegetarian and vegan dishes for over 25 years. Known for its homemade meals, extensive salad bar, and indulgent cakes, the café also boasts a hidden garden that stretches to St John's Square car park.

Rainbow's End Café is more than just a place to eat; it's a family-run business with a focus on sustainability. Its purely vegetarian menu is designed to reduce the café's environmental impact while catering to a wide range of dietary preferences.

A spokesperson for the café said: "We pride ourselves on supplying the highest quality whole food at an excellent price. Our menu features influences from around the world and always includes vegan and wheat-free options."

The Good Food Award isn't the café's only accolade. Over the years, Rainbow's End has received several awards, including the 2024 Britain in Bloom Silver Gilt Award in Business, Leisure and Tourism, and Restaurant Guru's Best Café in Glastonbury 2022.

The team are delighted to add another Gold Seal to their collection. "We're thrilled to receive this prestigious award again and look forward to continuing to grow," the spokesperson added.
