Glastonbury bikers to gather for charity fun day
By Laura Linham 11th May 2026
A charity bike ride and family fun day will return to Glastonbury this summer.
Riders in the Sky will hold its 2026 event at Tor Leisure, Glastonbury, on Sunday, 30 August 2026.
The event is held in memory of Lee Baker, a devoted father who died in a motorcycle crash in 2010. Lee was known for his energetic fundraising efforts in life — from sponsored skydives to cheeky charity calendars — and RITS Day continues that legacy every year.
The day will support Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance, with donations welcomed.
The ride-out costs £10 per bike. Sign-in closes at 10 am.
From midday, Tor Leisure will open up for a free-entry family fun day running until late.
Organisers are promising food and drink, local live music, stalls, children's entertainment and rides, plus a raffle and auction.
The event is set to bring bikers and families together at one of Glastonbury's best-known community venues.
More details about donations and taking part will be shared by Riders in the Sky closer to the date.
