Community Speed Watch offers local residents the chance to get actively involved in monitoring speeds and promoting safer driving habits within their neighbourhoods.

Residents of Glastonbury and Street concerned about speeding in their areas are being invited to become part of the solution by joining Community Speed Watch.

This initiative is a collaborative effort between the community, the police, and local authorities, aimed at addressing road safety concerns directly.

Community Speed Watch offers local residents the chance to get actively involved in monitoring speeds and promoting safer driving habits within their neighbourhoods. The primary goal is to raise awareness among motorists about the effects their speeding can have on local communities, especially the risks posed to other road users and pedestrians.

By participating in Community Speed Watch, volunteers can help make their streets safer and more pleasant for everyone. The programme provides training and equipment, empowering residents to take a stand against speeding in a constructive and measured way.

For those interested in making a difference in their community's road safety, additional information on how to get involved with Community Speed Watch is available. To learn more about the initiative and to sign up, please visit Community Speed Watch Information.
