Glastonbury and Street among slower property markets, new data shows
Homes in Glastonbury and Street are taking over four months to sell on average, according to new figures released by property firm Property Solvers.
Properties in Glastonbury (BA6) are currently spending around 133 days on the market, while in Street (BA16), the average is 132 days based on 26 tracked sales in January 2025.
The data places both towns in the slower half of Somerset's property market, though not among the very slowest areas such as Martock, Taunton or Shepton Mallet, where average sale times exceed 150 days.
The figures are part of a wider study analysing over 1,100 property sales across Somerset between March 2024 and March 2025. Property Solvers say more efficient processes and clearer access to information could help speed up transactions in future.
