Glastonbury Abbey is urging the public to remain vigilant against scammers following the sell-out of tickets for the highly anticipated Glastonbury Abbey Extravaganza 2024.

The Abbey has cautioned those who missed out on tickets to avoid purchasing from unverified sources, particularly on social media platforms like Facebook. The Abbey emphasised that Extravaganza tickets are physical tickets and warned that any offer of eTickets is a scam. To avoid disappointment, ensure you buy only from official sources.

Keane to headline 28th annual Glastonbury Abbey Extravaganza

The 28th annual Glastonbury Abbey Extravaganza will feature alt-rock stars Keane as the headline act on Saturday, 3rd August 2024.

Keane, from Battle, East Sussex, includes Tim Rice-Oxley (composer and pianist), Tom Chaplin (lead vocals), Richard Hughes (drummer), and Jesse Quin (bass). The band is celebrating the 20th anniversary of their debut album 'Hopes and Fears', which features the iconic hit 'Somewhere Only We Know'.

Presented by the Glastonbury Festival team, the Glastonbury Abbey Extravaganza is a one-night-only music festival held in the abbey grounds. Last year's event drew over 9,000 attendees.

Supporting Keane will be the Hot House Flowers, along with swing tunes from the Shepton Mallet Big Band. Gates will open at 4:30 pm, and the evening will conclude with a traditional fireworks display at 10 pm.
