Firefighters tackled a chimney fire in Glastonbury yesterday evening (December 10).

Just before 7pm, the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service attended a chimney fire in Ridgeway Gardens, Glastonbury.

One fire appliance from Glastonbury was mobilised to this incident.

On arrival, the crew confirmed a small fire in the chimney above a log burner.

They got to work to extinguish the fire using chimney gear and they removed the log burner from the property.
