Fire in Light Fitting at Upper Breach, South Horrington Village

Date: 28.11.2018Time: 09:14Location: Upper Breach, South Horrington VillageFire engines from Wells, Shepton Mallet and Glastonbury were sent to a report of a smell of burning within a commercial property at the above location.On arrival the crews confirmed that this was coming from a small fire in a light fitting which the crews extinguished by isolating the electricity supply.  They investigated using a triple extension ladder and a thermal imaging camera. The crews left duty of care with people on site who contacted a local electrician to attend.
