Fire crews called to reports of people stuck on church roof

Fire crews rushed to St Benedict's Church on Benedict Street in Glastonbury in the early hours of this morning (Saturday, July 23) after receiving reports of people stuck on the church roof.

The call came at 2.26am, and crews from from Glastonbury, Street and Bridgwater sprang into action.

Crews used a hydraulic platform to check the area of the roof and but no people were found.
