Famous Pick Your Own season set to return at West Bradley Orchards

From September 12 you'll be able to visit one of just three dessert apple orchards in the West Country to pick your own apples and pears.
For three consecutive weekends in September, the Clifton-Brown family will be welcoming the public to West Bradley Orchards between 10am and 5pm.
Located on the outskirts of Glastonbury, the 70-acre spread is free to enter and is home to more than 15 varieties of eating and cooking apples alongside three delicious pear varieties.
At £2 per kilo for fresh apples and pears it's a fun day trip packed with fruit picking for families, although only card payments are accepted.
Alongside succulent fruits you'll find hardwood apple logs, local honey, apple juice and cider all for sale on site.
Dogs are welcome on the farm and the public are encouraged to bring a picnic, walk through the orchards and enjoy the unique seasonal attraction.

- Saturday and Sunday September 12 and 13 10am to 5pm
- Saturday and Sunday September 19 and 20 10am to 5pm- Saturday and Sunday September 26 and 27 10am to 5pm
- Friday September 11, 18 and 25 by appointment only, with £40 minimum spend The annual event will only be operating around Government guidelines and the orchards are planning safety measures accordingly in preparation.
