The newly-launched tourism app OURTOR is looking for creatives that love Glastonbury to be part of a new guided tour of their town on the app.

For this event OURTOR is asking people to pick a site special to them, write a short piece saying why, then submit supporting art that was inspired by it. This will all be included in the collaborative Glastonbury Art Tour.

Tor Webster, the founder and CEO of OURTOR, also a local tour guide and winner of the Unsung Hero of Tourism award from the Bath, Bristol and Somerset Tourism Awards, said: "Even though the app will be worldwide for all types of people, organisations and businesses, our team is proudly based in Glastonbury and we love to promote Glastonbury's unique culture."

OURTOR is looking for painters, poets, musicians and photographers to represent their favourite site in Glastonbury which has become the muse for their art - for some people it's the Tor, others a local cafe. There are many inspiring places in Glastonbury and OURTOR welcomes you to share yours.

The app currently has nine tours written by Tor Webster. They currently feature Glastonbury, Bath and London but many more are on the way.

Soon a tour of the Glastonbury Mural Trail will be available. OURTOR would love to honour your stories with a tour - simply download the app today and start creating or take a tour.

Please contact the team to be part of the collaborative Glastonbury Art Tour, at [email protected] or visit their website at www.ourtor.com.
