Clarks Village in Street has officially ushered in the festive season with the opening of its annual Festive Market. This year's market, which opened its doors this weekend, promises an enchanting mix of food, drink, and unique Christmas gifts, all nestled among the Somerset shopping outlet's charming setting.

Spread out across Clarks Village, the market features an array of independent stalls, each offering something special for the holiday season. Shoppers can expect to find everything from local fudge and traditional cider to hand-crafted jewellery and ornate fused glass ornaments.

The market, which began on Friday, November 24, will be open daily until Christmas Eve. Highlights include the Bearpit Market with its aromatic mulled wine, the sweet treats from Go Fudge Yourself, and the rich flavours of Rich's Cider. Spirits enthusiasts will be drawn to Kin Vodka and Beckford's Rum, while Malton's Mobile Bar will provide a range of beverages.

For those looking for a bite to eat, the market doesn't disappoint. Café Blue, Dough Bros, The Happy Café, and Toots Pizza offer a culinary journey, alongside Chickie's Gourmet Eggs and My Greek Fat Wraps. Sweet cravings can be satisfied with Bubble T and Load 'o' Waffle.

The shopping experience extends beyond food and drink. Clare Hawley Jewellery, Shelden Glass, and Debussie Boutique are set to entice gift-seekers. New additions like Betsy & Bird jewellery and Somerset Craft Distillery will join the market in December, further diversifying the selection.

Sean the Chef will also be there on weekends, offering baked delights, while Emma Keys Portraits and Mahoney's Candles add to the festive ambiance with their unique offerings.

Adding to the festive spirit, Clarks Village is aglow with Christmas decorations and the recently launched Christmas ice rink. The 550 sq metre real-ice rink, open daily (except Christmas Day) until January 7, offers the perfect complement to a Christmas shopping trip.

Chris Davis, Centre Director of Clarks Village, said: "The Christmas season is very much with us at Clarks Village. We're thrilled to create a festive atmosphere for our guests. The Festive Market, alongside our 90 high street and designer brands, Christmas lights, and the buzz from the ice rink, all contribute to making Christmas at Clarks Village a truly magical experience."
