Clarks Village tees up arty mini golf for summer holidays

Clarks Village is set to launch its first custom-built mini golf course this summer — and it's a hole lot more than just a game.
Opening in time for the summer holidays, the Art & Putt pop‑up will feature nine holes inspired by iconic artists from the 20th and 21st centuries.
From the bold, colourful pop‑art of Andy Warhol's Campbell's Soup Cans to Salvador Dali's surrealist landscapes, each hole will be a striking, immersive piece of playable art.
The nine artists featured are Jean‑Michel Basquiat, Salvador Dali, Keith Haring, David Hockney, Frida Kahlo, Jeff Koons, Yayoi Kusama, Bridget Riley and Andy Warhol.
Each hole will be packed with information about the artist and their legacy, allowing families and friends to putt their way through a playful lesson in art history.

Art & Putt will be located on the lawn of the Alfred Gillett Trust, with its own dedicated entrance from the outlet's Restaurant Terrace. The course will be open from Saturday 19 July until Sunday 31 August and will take roughly 45 minutes to complete.
Tickets cost £8 per person and can be bought on the day from the Art & Putt ticket booth, with no advance booking required.
Chris Davis, Centre Director at Clarks Village, said: "We're all about creating memorable moments at Clarks Village, whether it's gliding across our magical Christmas ice rink, enjoying an outdoor cinema, celebrating furry friends at our annual Pawsome Pooch dog event — or now teeing off at our brand-new, wildly fun mini golf course.
"We love surprising guests with fresh, fabulous experiences every time they visit. This spectacular addition is completely new and different, offering an exciting and experiential twist, and we can't wait for its arrival."
Art & Putt will be open throughout the summer holidays.
