The Christmas ice rink is returning to Clarks Village in Street on Tuesday, 10 November, and will stay open until Sunday, 3 January 2027.

The 585-square-metre rink will be built on the lawn outside the Shoemakers Museum, with an entrance from the Restaurant Terrace. It will have real ice and be fully undercover, so skating plans need not depend on the weather.

This year's programme is set to include after-school skating, parent and toddler sessions, quieter sessions, disco nights and a new Skate and Sing session. The rink will be wheelchair friendly and available for private bookings, including school trips and parties.

It is also due to open on Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Clarks Village has yet to announce whether it will hold another costumed launch event after its Santa and elf skates in previous years.

Mike Jones, centre director at Clarks Village, said: "We're incredibly excited to bring back the magical Festive Ice Rink at Clarks Village for the entire Christmas season."

Tickets go on sale on Monday, 5 October. Sessions last 45 minutes, with tickets priced from £14, or from £12 for children aged 12 and under. Family tickets start at £44, while one child under five can skate free with each paying adult at parent and toddler sessions. A limited-time early bird discount of 20% is also advertised.
