Caravan Fire at Morland Road, Glastonbury

Date: 08.12.2018Time: 12:35Location: Morland Road, GlastonburyDevon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service received reports of a caravan on fire at the above location.

Fire control immediately mobilised one fire appliance from Glastonbury and one from Street.

On arrival crews confirmed one fire within a caravan. Crews got to work extinguishing the fire using two breathing apparatus wearers, one attack jet and one safety jet.

A thermal imaging camera was used to check for any further hotspots.

An Ambulance was also requested for one male suffering from burns to hands and smoke inhalation.
