A caravan blew over and blocked a road near Glastonbury at lunchtime today (February 10).

Just after noon today, two fire appliances from Glastonbury and Street attended Kennard Moor Drove between Glastonbury and Coxbridge after a call from the occupant of a caravan stating it had blown over.

The caravan was not mobile at the time. The caller did state that both himself and his partner plus two dogs were out of the caravan.

When crews attended they confirmed the caravan was on its side and it was blocking the road. First aid was provided to the man prior to the arrival of the ambulance service and crews made the area and caravan safe before handing the incident over to the occupant and the police.
