Manor House Road in Glastonbury will be temporarily closed to all traffic next month as Somerset Council gives the green light for essential works to install new fibre and power cabinets.

The closure, which covers a short stretch between The Archers Way and Bowers Close, is due to come into effect on 19th September. The work, carried out by OCU Utility Services on behalf of Virgin Media, is expected to run from 25th September to 15th October, with crews on-site daily between 8am and 5pm.

Residents and motorists should expect disruption during the three-week closure as fibre and power infrastructure is installed, including duct work and chambers.

Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes, and those planning ahead can visit One.Network for detailed diversion information.

If you have questions about the upcoming works, you can contact OCU Utility Services directly at 0845 303 8615, referencing ttro035869E.
