A weekend of music, comedy, and style: What's On in Street and Glastonbury (25th-27th August)

Residents and visitors of Street and Glastonbury are in for a thrilling bank holiday weekend as the towns come alive with a variety of entertainment options.
Starting Friday, music lovers can delight in the sounds of "Somerset Flutes" at Night at the Abbey in Glastonbury at 5pm, followed by a band "Reef" performance at the same venue at 7pm.
The "Designer Preloved Styling Tour" will be at the Rainbows End Cafe in Glastonbury from 7pm to 10pm for those interested in fashion. The night will be capped off with free entry to Matt Wescott's live music at The Market House at 8.30pm.
A special event, "MI VIDA LOCA PT2," is set to take place at The King Arthur, Glastonbury. The evening will be accompanied by four well-known DJs, creating a unique atmosphere for patrons from 7 pm until 1 am.
N'famady Kouyaté, a young master musician from Guinea, is set to charm audiences at the Strode Theatre on Friday, 25th August at 7:30 PM, with tickets priced at £18. Known for his modern interpretations of traditional West African Mandingue songs, N'famady's performance will feature an eight-piece band playing instruments such as balafon, keyboards, and saxophone.
Saturday's lineup begins with the "Big Wild Summer PJ Party" at RSPB Ham Wall at 6.30pm, offering a chance for families to enjoy the outdoors. For those seeking rhythm and beats, the "Drum Bongo Volume 2" event at 9pm at The Riflemans Arms promises a night of excitement.
A unique musical experience is also planned with the "LET IT FLOW" takeover at The King Arthur pub in Glastonbury. This collective of DJs from various cities will bring energy and a range of sounds, from Funky House to Drum & Bass, for a two-day music and fun-filled weekend.
In Street, catch "Mission: Impossible 7: Dead Reckoning, Part One" (12A) at Strode Theatre, or for family fun, Disney's "Cinderella" (U). Fans of classical music can enjoy "André Rieu's 2023 Maastricht Concert: Love Is All Around" this weekend, too.
Sunday continues the festivities with a family-friendly gathering at St Dunstan's Church for "Families @ 4," at 4pm in Baltonsborough. Theatre enthusiasts can enjoy "Robin Hood" performed by Illyria at Glastonbury Abbey at 6.30pm.
At the King Arthur, the Comedy Night, hosted by Becca, gets underway. This night promises laughter with stand-up performances, comedy music, and interactive games.
And back at Strode Theatre, there's a second chance to catch "Mission: Impossible 7: Dead Reckoning, Part One" (12A) in the Theatre, or immerse yourself in the harmonious melodies of "André Rieu's 2023 Maastricht Concert: Love Is All Around."
