St Dunstan's alumni set to star in global music premiere

The upcoming international premiere of Karl Jenkins' composition 'One World' will feature two notable alumni of St Dunstan's School, Helen Ostafew and Elizabeth Parsons.

This event is scheduled for the evening of Sunday, 19th November in Linz, Austria.

Helen Ostafew, now a respected music teacher and composer based in Frome, and Elizabeth Parsons, who has established herself as a professional soprano in Munich, are both involved in this prestigious event as performers and organisers with The World Choir for Peace. Their participation highlights their talents and the successful nurturing of artistic skills at St Dunstan's School.

The composition by Karl Jenkins, known for his unique and emotive music, promises to be a compelling and thought-provoking piece. 'One World' is reportedly Jenkins' final major work, adding an element of historical significance to the event.

Those unable to attend the event in Austria can still experience this musical feat. ClassicFM is set to live stream the performance on their YouTube channel from 5pm, providing a unique opportunity for a global audience to witness this special occasion.
