A great opportunity has come up for a Community Paramedic to cover a 12 month maternity, with a potential view to a permanent opportunity after the initial maternity cover position.

This is an opportunity for 30 hours per week to become part of an extremely supportive and forward thinking practice that genuinely prioritises patient care and satisfaction. The role will involve some practice based clinics mixed with home visits and supporting with online consults. Benefit from 15-20 minute appointments and work alongside a dedicated and experienced MDT. The position is initially to cover maternity but there may be potential for a continued permanent position afterwards for the right person.

Salary £43,000 - £47,000 per annum FTE (Up to £24.22 per hour DOE) + NHS pension + 5 weeks annual leave + Bank Holidays (pro rata) + Indemnity Paid

Your role

  • Need experience in Primary Care
  • Ideally a prescriber (but not essential)
  • Completed the Paramedic Pathway
  • 30 hours per week flexibility over exact days
  • 15-20 minute appointment times
  • Deal with solely acute, on the day presentations
  • Be part of a strong MDT
  • No extended hours
