Mid Somerset Musical Spectacular

Young performers from across Mid Somerset are preparing to take centre stage for three nights of music at Strode Theatre in Street.

The Mid-Somerset Musical Spectacular will be held on Monday, 8 June, Tuesday, 9 June, and Thursday, 11 June 2026.

Each show starts at 7 pm.

The concerts will bring together youngsters from local schools, music clubs and drama groups, with a different cast performing each evening.

Organisers say each night will be unique, with a wide range of talent on show.

For many of the young performers, the concerts will offer a first chance to perform on a big stage.

The event is presented by the Lions Clubs and Somerset Music.

Proceeds from the concerts will go to Somerset Music and other children's charities.

Tickets cost between £3 and £9 and are available from Strode Theatre.

The theatre is based at Strode College, Church Road, Street.
