Glastonbury Pagan Moot — Temples of Malta with Bliss
Glastonbury Pagan Moot — Temples of Malta with Bliss

The Maltese temple culture spanned several thousand years, it is debated amongst scholars that some of the temples may predate the temples of Ancient Egypt and span as far back as to be contemporaneous with the oldest sacred sites in Anatolia.

The shape and alignment of these sites reflect important motifs within ancient Maltese belief and may have influenced the many harvest festivals, mythology and folk tales still important to the Maltese people to this day.

The many temples and their cosmic alignments, the possible significance of this and their sheer number give interesting pause for thought, we will explore some of the different theories around this in the talk, anyone who has also visited the temples of Malta is welcome to also share their experiences and joy at these incredible power places at the heart of the Mediterranean.

All welcome .
